Front Passenger side door lock - opens sometime

    2010 RRS
If the car is locked - walk up to the front passenger side and put your hand on the handle, with keys in pocket etc, opens up.
If the car is unlocked with the remote or via another door - front passenger side door stays locked.

The fault codes come up are: B1C37-23 (2F) Master Lock Switch Stuck - Signal stuck low and B1C38-23 (2F) Master Lock Switch Stuck - Signal stuck low.
If I clear them - they come back.

Manual provides this list of possible causes:
Master central lock switch signal circuit short circuit to ground
    Master central lock switch stuck/jammed
    Master central lock switch failure

    And suggests:
Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the master switch lock circuit.
Check the switch operation, renew as necessary.

Is the Master Lock Switch meaning the interior door handle / lock button assembly on the drivers side?
    - the drivers door operates, unlocks and locks completely fine.

Anyone else had a similar issue previously?
    Suggestions?

Google thinks the part number for the interior door handle / lock button assembly is AH22-14776-AA.
But none of the normal UK based LR part suppliers list it.
Which suggests it isn't replaced very often.
    Hmmm.

May be the electric lock motor.

Hi Paul_V, I had a similar problem. Given that other doors are behaving properly I would suggest that it's the door lock motor located in the latching mechanism.

Yep - replacing the front left latch (LR091526) fixed it.

Interestingly, I initially replaced it with an elcheep'o Chinese option from A
liexpress. Didn't fix the issue and behaved even worse.
    The genuine part fixed it.
