    Solution found for EPB grief

Well, i fixed the errant EPB. In two parts, I removed the assembly, replaced the gear set, reset the cable linkages, resealing the case on completion. But i noticed a scorch mark on the interior of the case while resealing. It turned out to be a burnt terminal inside the case, leading to the drive motor. After removing and making the junctions on the board good, the device now works perfectly.

Thanks for your help, Graeme. It pointed me in a direction to examine carefully.
