What value are you putting on the 3 years free servicing? I reckon that's worth about $2K. My last service (120,000Km) was $580.
How much do you reckon a new RRS will depreciate in 3 years? I have a fair idea of the new prices and 3 y.o. values, so let's say a $120K car new is worth $60K secondhand after 3 years (RedBook value on a 2006 TDV6 is $54K - $60K), then you've done $60K. Makes the free servicing seem pretty insignificant. However, you are getting 3 years of warranty in the $120K price....
Anyway, if you can get the new one I say go for it and just try not to think about the depreciation. I solved that problem by getting one that still had 2 years of factory warranty on it, and I got my company to buy the car, so they cop the loss. Remember that anything over $57800 is not tax deductible, and that includes the GST that you can't claim back over that amount![]()

It would make an absolutely superb family car for us! But I'm happy with my P38a.
