    Strange goings on

I have posted on before about the strange goings on with my '03 model L322 TD6. My original problem seemed to be the auto box kicking back to 3rd with the slightest touch of the accelerator. It was almost impossible to get the vehicle to "pull" in 4th or top gear. So much so that I have been driving in Command shift where it will pull in 5th quiote happily. What happened the other day intreagues me. I was in command shift and I had to srop the vehicle, where it automatically drop back to 2nd gear. Forgetting I was in command shift I took off quite quickly and suddenly "duh" found the engine reving its head off. I lifted off the accelerator and put the box into auto mode. Since then the accelerator has totally changed. The auto box now loves to pull in 4th and especially 5th. To get it to drop to 3rd I now have to push the accelerator right down to get it to kick down. What might have happened? I like it the way it drives now. Jim

    Strange goings on

Well it seems that I have to answer my own thread. Since posting I have found that the device under the accelerator (throttle position sersor???) may have a problem. If the engine starts reving on little accelerator I just give the pedal a kick down and the problem seems to settle down. Anyone had a problem here and are these units easily replaced? Also cost? Jim
