I guess that Bruce will be he person to ask. Why do not call him?
After having a completely trouble free run in my TD6 for 27 months, the honeymoon is over. Coming home a while ago the air bag suspension decided not to need air for some reason. It seems strange that the car doesn't seem to have dropped and it is sitting level. However there are strange clunks coming from under the vehicle whilst cornering or braking. Stopped at Davis' on the way home and a quick diagnostic check showed a problem. Bruce logged this on his computer and reset the car. It was fine for about 2 km and failed again. Is there a problem driving in this condition? The ride seems normal apart from the noises. Jim

Depends on the actual fault. Once the EAS has a fault, it will lock each corner at the height it was at, so it won't drop to its stops like the P38's do, but if you have a split airbag somewhere it may drop on that corner.
When mine did the front RH airbag it was hard to tell there was an issue and SWMBO drove it home without issue.
If you just need to get home I wouldn't think it is a problem, but I probably wouldn't drive it everyday until the fault is diagnosed.

Thanks all. It appears that there is a small leak in l.h. front airbag. It usually doesn't cause a problem other than I have noticed a slight lift in height when I start up. However yesterday at 41 degrees the airpump shut down due to overheating. The reset yesterday by Bruce did not solve the problem as temp was still high. Today bruce reset fault again and pump working ok again. Bruce's solution is to replace front strut and airbag as a new unit... aftermarket cost of $880 plus fitting, so this is being done in 2 weeks. Jim
