One thing I did notice is that most of the rims on that website have a different offset to standard RR rims . 57mm as to 30-45 mm
    Just saying

Made it back in one piece, no punctures or dramas. BUT we now have a taste for this sort of thing and the sort of places we ended up, so I now have the go ahead to turn the L322 from a pretender to a contender...

I will start a new thread on all the plans, but this thread suits my need to know about rims and tyres...

The 20's will be going, and a set of 18's to go on, with some decent all terrain tyres needed. (If anyone has a set of rims for sale I am now seriously looking) and the 20's will be on the market for those wanting a bit more bling.

Anyway, I am after 2 things here - opinions on good all terrains that people have run or are running, and secondly, has anyone thought of putting on some slowly larger diameter tyres? Only interested in clearance thoughts here, not all the other negatives some may think of. Yes I know bigger tyres will reduce the power of the car, yes I know bigger tyres will put extra stress on the driveline, yes I know bigger tyres won't fit in the spare wheel well...

I am after opinions on what the extra sidewall size would do and any clearance issues anyone thinks I may encounter.

I'll post details on the other ideas I have in a new thread. Maybe we can take the wheel and tyre discussion there as well if needed.

    Cheers - Gav.
Can you post a pic of the rims you will sell ?

Here you go. They are a bit dirty from our recent trip, but they scrub up well. Have to buy some 18's and shoe them first, then these will be for sale. Let me know if you are interested. I have a mate who runs a truck to Perth each week, so don't worry about your location...

I believe they are from an 08 supercharged.

Oops, i must have missed this reply. Sorry about that bacicat.

Thanks for the reply, although unfortunately there not the style i was after. I would love some of the 15 spoke style. I missed the ones that were on the forum by a few days a little while back that philmoon got.

Not only did I get them I bought his other pair which sold on ebay for 729 so .... I only paid 600 for all the wheels so I paid minus 129 for the 15 spokes ....
Dont get a win very often but when I do it makes all the non wins insignificant
