Chuck, is the LTZ Zeon available in 19inch too now?? I thought I'd give the MTR's a go - have 6 of them from the D4- and replace the Scorpions on the RR with LTZ's in due course as I thought they were now available

Stornaway
Yes they are available in 19".
Have you picked the car up yet?
I live near the airport if you need a ride.
Cheers
Thanks Chuck, much appreciated; at this stage the sale price includes transport up here so I'm hoping I wont need to go back to Melbourne. But will PM you if that changes. Appreciate advise on Tyres too guys -and I will be in touch with Gordon at GOE re 18's as an alternative in the long term. Graeme, thanks for the LLAMS pdf - will look at the wiring post delivery and let you know if its all same as 2007MY
cheers
Chris
PS "Stornoway SA" username has been Upgraded too!!
2010 suspension system wiring with and without the damper module is the same as the 2007 so its only a question of whether the 2012 is the same as 2010.
Understood - will send you some (passenger footwell electrics etc) photos once I have the car.
Hi Chris, I've had my eye on that car for a few weeks, waiting for my RRS to sell - you beat me to it!
Nice piece of work, I had a drive of exactly the same model/year/colour here in Perth a couple of weeks ago, loved it. Only had about 12000km on it. (And Khan 22" wheels, along with a set of the original, unused 20" set)
The Vogue Luxury TDV8 seems a good choice since LR loaded it up with options for the runout to the L405 arrival.
If it's not too rude of me, a pm would be welcome if you felt comfortable about it, to let me know what you eventually got it for. (From memory they had it advertised for about $139K driveaway)
Anyhoo, the RRS is now sold so I guess I can go shopping.
Cheers, Greg
Very sorry Greg - I did look at a 2011 Autobiography in Perth too (I'm in Perth monthly) but this 2012 with only 20k and e-diff was exactly what I wanted. Will be the ultimate tow car (we are buying a Bushtracker van).
I will P M you more details mate - did you have 20's on the RRSPORT? I know you did some serious off road touring in that car so curious re the tyres. Cheers Chris
They've had that Autobiography on the lot for many months now, considering the new RRS, the new Vogue and the fact it has 40,000km on it I think they'll struggle to get the asking price.
Thanks for the tip on the tyres Chris, I'll have a look at those next year. I've PMd you also.
This is an extraordinary car - having owned a D4 3.0L and a D3 2.7 before that I really noticed the change between the two models - refinement, luxury and quietness and THAT diesel twin turbo in the D4 took the D3 concept to whole new level - nothing beats 600nm of Torque.
Except 700nm of Torque :D
I'm stunned how good the 4.4TDV8 8 speed is. If this combo. was available in the D4 you'd sell a million of them. Just effortless, feather-light-throttle power. AND the economy???? seriously - showing 5.9l/100 when we cruised at 90??? Averaged around 8.9l/100 for a trip to and from the Sunshine Coast!! Ridiculous in a 2.8 tonne car. My God its GOOD!
I'm seriously hooked on this thing and cant wait to see whether it even notices a caravan on the back...the D4 hardly noticed the 21 foot Jayco Sterling we towed (hired last Easter) - this thing feels significantly better again.
