    2007 Clarion Invalid Disk Error

    Hi All

    Having this invalid disk error message appear when I try to play CDs, on the Clarion 6 Disk Magazine CAA-397, initially it was intermittent and some disks would not play correctly, now it appears for all 6 disks and not operating at all.

    I have researched and found removing the fuse and replacing can fix, which did not work, hitting it can fix, which I tried and has also not fixed.

    Seems to be a regular problem with this model cd changer however most threads do not end with the solution, which at this point I believe may be replacement.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Check & spray all wiring joints would be a good starting point

    I've a (garage) multi disc player that regularly needs a CD cleaner disc run through it; it says same thing when laser gets dirty; worth a cheap try?

    I've recently fitted an Audiovox multimedia integration unit so have genuine (BMW) 6 stacker with cartridge, available. working as it should.

    The multimedia unit accepts USB/memory sticks, Ipod/Iphone, Sirius, aux inputs; it even connects bluetooth with my Iphone 5 for true hands free operation, through all original controls/steering wheel, etc.
