Brake controller location on tdv8?

I got around to mounting the Tow-pro switch today. However not wanting to break the fascia end panel that refused to un-clip even with what seemed excessive force and distortion, the switch is mounted in the top of the bonnet release lever surround. Its lower than desirable but had to get it mounted so that the van can be taken for its annual rego inspection outing.

The driver side end dash panel is difficult to release. As part of my alternator problem I found a good accessory location under the centre console. The panel under the two cig lighters pops off fairly easy to reveal space and ignition controlled power. Pic below. Attachment 100262
