Thanks Graeme - good pick up!

I suspect that 275/55/20 might be the limit in the rear guard - based on Gordon's great tyre guide (see GOE website) they are 810.5mm circumference (my LTZ's are 793mm). I don't think there'd be much room in the drivers side rear guard to go over 810.5mm - Grant, how much room is in that spot (where the fuel filler intrudes in the rear drivers side guard )- is it "at the limit" with your tyres?
cheers
Do they clear at access height and if so, is there still clearance for further lowering?
Chris, there is room to fit your fingers in the right rear guard when the car is at access height. While it would be possible to go higher, the trick would be to find a tyre that is only a bees dick bigger........this is the ideal size. Just got home from Brissie now and the ride, fuel, steer and water capability is great. Had hard rain from Ipswich to Coffs Harbour and not one issue......was very sure footed and capable! I can't tell you how happy I am that I went with these. I will also try some other brands in this size to get a comparison but not for another year or so.
Graeme, that should answer your question too, I think?
