    intercooler to manifold hose td6

Hey guys, after a quick search for info on blown intercooler hoses on the forum, a seeming lack of parts online and the dealer saying they no longer sell the small upper elbow as one piece...im beginning to think that blowing this hose isnt a common thing.

On the last 30 minutes before home at the end of my 4000km trip camping etc to brisbane and back from melbounre, plenty of black smoke and extremely erratic power surges suggested me to pull over. To my delight there was no metal in the egr valve and i was relieved! but the split inter cooler pipe (The smallest 90 deg(ish) one leading into the EGR valve) still needed some duct tape to see me home (still on there unfortunately)

As far as i can tell there is only one supplier on ebay in the uk with this part (around $100 landed), none of the major part sites seem to list it! So i call the dealer to find that they do not sell the elbow individually any more, baffled I asked what the heck he was on about and asked what they did sell and found it was about $200. I politely declined. A full silicone kit from the uk (only 1 supplier off ebay again) was nearly that much.

So after all this waffling on confusing people, my question is, has anyone had to replace this part and if, how and where did they get it for a sensible price?

No, I've had all my intercooler pipes off and I was going to replace them when I did my intercooler just because it would be a good maintenance thing to do (intercooler had a rock go through it - they are a PITA to replace, but that's another story). When I cleaned and checked all the hoses I found them all to be in excellent condition inside and out, with the flex you'd expect from new hoses, so I put them back on.

    Mine has 220,000KM on it.

Anything is possible, I dont think its worth it on a small 90deg bend though
I might hunt around for a similar sized universal silicone hose and see how that goes.
