I only had the Pirelli scorpions for about 20000kms and they were good. Obviously I didn't wear them down to he point you did Graeme.
    They were 19"s on a disco 4.

I am running a cheap Nexen ATR at the moment and for the money think I paid about $260 a corner fitted and balanced with a wheel alignment I can't complain. Have been good in the wet and in the sand....

Not an AT - just a standard highway tyre but I'm on my second set of Nexen Roadians. Cheapest 20" tyre by a mile and a good all round performer. Got around 80KKM on the first set and done 1,000's of KM on the dirt - and even off-road tiptoing around carefully - never had an issue.

Never noticed any noise from them - the engine makes more noise I think. They are a budget tyre, but I have been surprised at how well they have worn - I wouldn't think they are a very high performance tyre, but the L322 isn't a high performance vehicle.

Never lost grip in the wet either, but again, the L322 isn't a sports car. For the money' they are well worth it IMO. They were under 1/2 the price of anything else in a 20" that I could find.

Certainly good enough to to get you motoring for a couple of years. :

Just worked out a more accurate tyre life of the last set. When we bought the car, the PO said the tyres were around 5,000KM old. Car had 137,000 when we bought it. We had the new set fitted 18 months ago with 205,000 on the clock (just checked the receipt) so just a tad shy of 80 - tyres were rotated twice in that time - and they were shagged when we bought the new ones. Still a decent run out of a cheap tyre with over 2.5 tonne of car sitting on them.
