    M62 Radiator replacement

Does anyone make a better radiator for the M62 V8 RR than the OEM unit? Mine has started to leak again. It was last replaced in mid-2014.

Surely someone said the OEM unit is rubbish and we can do a better one.

How many of you have had multiple replacements?

I wonder if Aussie Desert Coolers would do one? I've just sent off a request for a quote.

PWR do a upgraded radiator, not sure on cost though. Also you will find some replacement radiators on E-bay !

Most of the eBay radiators are probably Chinese. I'll look up PWR.

    Thanks Laurie.

I ended up using an OEM Hella radiator but with a 140kPa reservoir cap, not the previously fitted 200kPa cap. I do wonder if the reason for radiator failures is due to using a 200kPa cap specified for early VIN cars.

I bought the cheapest radiator I could find. It is actually well constructed. Taking them out is pretty easy so I was not worried if it starts to leak in a few years. The car is getting old and I reasoned money in the pocket now is best. The radiator has been issue free.
