Bob, welcome to the idea...Grant and I were talking the other day about what we would buy if it weren't another L322...there isn't much choice is there...unless its a D4
    (200 series? SO pedestrian.)
It'd be fun to have a bunch of Land Rovers of various models on the same trip.
Kimberley Karavan - nice way to travel.

My good mate with the shiny head is dreaming about doing that trip next year,I will send him a link.
Its something I want to do sometime too.

One of my brothers owns a D4 Andy...nothing 'low-life' about them. When I sold my RRS it was a toss up between the D4 and the FFRR. Be fun to have a bunch of us LR tragics on such a road a trip.
(I will have new tyres by then!)

May not be white by the time you get there of course!

No, more of a feathered two-tone job, starting with red at the bottom and working its way to a white roof maybe:-)

Here's a taste of next year...our camp by Coongan Pools, about 30km north of Marble Bar. Beautiful spot, shaded by huge rivergums, it's free, and during our stop, hardly anyone within coo-ee. And at Whalesong, on the shores of Pender Bay, just south of Cape Leveque on the Dampier Peninsula.
