Compared to my 110, so much easier to do a 6 - 10 hour trip in the L322. Precision rack & pinion steering over the old drag link design, the quiet interior, the amazing seats and sound system, effortless power availability, effective heating/cooling, incredible road stability with nearly no body roll, all contribute to a great driving experience. And it has better off road traction than my 110 which was now slouch off road. Not really a fair comparison as the only traction aid on the 110 is a front LSD.

I'm please with the turning circle compared to my D2, reversing my boat in a tight street is really difficult in the D2 due to its large turning circle.

As for the HEVAC, the notorious FSR ( final stage resistor ) is one of this models niggles. I think mine is intermittantly paying up. Seems an easy fix though.

D2s fitted with 16" rims were at least initially incorrectly fitted with long steering stops required for the wider tyres on 18" rims. Shorter bolts quite significantly improve the turning circle.

I cut the bolts shorter, but U turn turning were still a lot longer than my old Disco1. I got caught once doing a U turn and the light pole on the nature strip was very close. The D1 just breezed it before. D2s have a different setup to the older D1s with swivels
