    Cruising through the hills

Took my bro inlaw for a spin through the local hills for 1/2 hour, sun roof open getting the rays on my bald spot.
When we got back to his house he said, this 13yr old thing drives better than his son inlaws new $40,000 nissan ute and gave it a caning.
Off course that's what I wanted to hear

Mate you will never look back. It is in my opinion very hard to go back to any other vehicle after having one of these. I drove a 4.4tdv8 this week and that truly is a work of art..😍😍😍

I took her to ULR today to get a coupling for the tow bar. I parked in the customer carpark underneath, proud as punch until I saw all the late model stuff. ( probably all on lease or finances anyway)
Found the spare parts section sign and went upstairs. No spare parts counter, so reception desk girl asked what I wanted. She then phone the spares dept, and I had to wait for some one to come up with a note pad to write down my order. Then disappeared for about 10 -15 mins for me to browse the what I can not afford rangies and jags.
There were snobby looking woman (mother and daughter.)I over heard
Mother asking daughter what colour she would like in the sport. Gee must be nice for parents to buy kids these luxury cars
Any way I thought come 10 years down the track these Toorak tractors will have depreciated enough for this mere mortal to afford one.
They did look schmick, but you wouldn't want to scratch them out on a track, it would be criminal

Yep Gerry, pretty stocked. It's just a pleasure to drive. It's a new toy, and I need to explore and become one with the vehicle. Cant wait until the weather warms up so I can crwl under and admire the mechanics.
I did this with my very 1st Land Rover. As the dealer on my 1st purchase many years ago said , once you have owned a land rover then there is a 90 % chance that you will buy another and another. It's a sickness we have. Sort of like a drug,

I think we all now what you're feeling!

Was in you area a couple of weeks ago....too cold for me.

They are a great ride. I like your interior, same colour wood as mine but like the grey you have.

    Cheers, Jerry
