    Is your reverse camera a PAL system,if so it will not work.

    It needs to be a NTSC system.

    The camera was the one supplied by them in the kit so it should be the correct one.

    With a slight note of jealousy, it doe look the beans!!

    Thanks for the explanation, brilliant job and has inspired me to do it. But I need to find the equivalent for the 2006 onwards.

    Have also just purchased a new compressor, which is about the same price so the head unit will have to wait.. Christmas maybe!

    All sorted, I did a google and found there are different ways to rig up a camera, i ended up using all the wires. I used the RCA cable with the piggy red leads and wired them in like a video said and all is good.
    Style number one camera is same as mine

    I pulled the head unit out again today and attached another Video cable to the Aux Vid in plug, and coiled up and tucked away the video lead under the passenger kick panel for a rainy day.
    I might put a front camera underneath that shows the wheels path, thought this might be handy for wheel placement on tracks
