Yes , you`re right and i understand the reasoning .

I guess the best way to describe what i mean for a main circuit diagram is ,

When using Google maps , you can enter an address which gives a graphic of a limited area of local streets ECT .

Voom out and it will give the suburb and surrounding suburbs , further vooming gives state ECT .

You can have as big or small over view as you require .

This only takes seconds as you know and is easily related .

The more you learn of a system the less overall you need and with RAVE if working on the system all the time it would be an almost perfect thing but to get to that stage more hours than i would want to put in are required .

For laymen which most will be an old type overview would be helpful and when i think about it it may be there just not as the graphic that i think i need to see .

Had a better look at the Electrical circuit diagram manual and i`m sure some of you would have said what is your problem .

It is not much like the one that is done for the LSE softdash .

It is along the same lines but much modified and much more self explanatory

It is much easier to follow , the power/earth distribution pages pretty much answer my question on circuits .

Power distribution shows what is linked to what , like the glow plug timer and the Tranfer ECU have different fuses but the same power source .

Only a couple of pages are specific to TD6 or V8 , other wise the same page will have both circuits but they are labeled as with the colour of the wire .

It shows what the battery feeds and what the ignition at 1, 2 or 3 does .

It also has circuits relating to Australian cars .

I`ve only looked at the basics and first 27 pages there are 223 pages so im guessing there is a bit more to it .

Could be a while till i get to the other 200 odd pages though .

I haven`t investigated at all but wondered if the easier reading circuit diagrams are a BMW thing .
