    Air Suspension

Wilst testing out my new Trail Hogs on the farm today..
My daughter commented that there is an air noise
    coming from the front!!
Sure enough left hand air bag has a pin hole in it!!
Now the question is where to get new bags....
I've looked on EBay plenty aftermarket ones....
Where are they made? Would like genuine if available!
Any experience with the Chinese ones?
    Cheers Terry

I got 2 landed in aus for just under 1k from island4x4 in the uk. however, the top stru mounts are already begining to fail. if you do some offroading, try the arrnots bags with the HD strut tops, costly but thats what i will be going for next

That's a pretty good run on original air springs. I would buy OEM to ensure quality. I bought fronts from Duckworths, but Island 4x4 are probably a good choice as an overseas supplier. You could try Mario - Roverlord Off Road spares. There is an Australian supplier of Arnott springs but with used struts. I would buy a complete new unit.

Mine are Delphi, made in Mexico. The originals were Delphi made in U.K. according to the markings on the strut.

Where did you get them from rar?
My car is made in mid 2009 MY10.
I noticed the front bags have cracks in them.
    I want to replace them.
    Thinking Delphi complete struts.
Graeme can active front shocks be fitted?

Sorry Rar I just saw you got them from duckworths.
How have they been? How are the shocks?

CVDs without all the wiring, different height sensors, control unit and sensors will be at maximum firmness permanently so not a viable option, let alone their cost.

All good. They seem to be good quality.

    Thanks Graeme.
I wasn't sure if it was an easy conversion. Eg cables were there and just needed control unit and shocks.
I will stick to standard Delphi.
Does anyone have an old rear shock laying around?
I'd still like to see if any other brand of rear shock could be adapted.
Koni Raid rears would be cool!

    Thanks Rar

I have no idea if it will fit but I have a good (used) rear shocker of my old 2002 TDV6.
PM me if it is any good to you
    Peter
