    RRS (L320) rims fit a L322?

    Hi There,
Just a quick one, do the rims of an L320 RRS (19 inch) fit onto a 2003 L322? Thanks in anticipation.

    Cheers Marty

I understand that the L320/D3/D4/later L322 nuts will be required.
RRS 19" rims are half an inch wider than D3/D4 rims so stretch the tyres more thereby exposing the sidewalls more.

My brother fitted 265/50R20 to his 20" rims in preference to 255/55R19 to his L320's 19" for outback use, not that the 20" tyres survived very well. However his 20" rims are also wider than L322 20".

Just be aware that some RRS wheels will not be load rated for the L322

The RRS rims I was planning on using have come off a TDV8, the 19 inch standard ones. Cheer anyway something else to check.

My 2002 L322 HSE came with 20" RRS (2010) wheels fitted. Looked great but turned out to be illegal for this state (Victoria). Offset was different and ride pretty ordinary. Handling was tighter, but not what I was after in my first Rangie. Ended up fitting 19" L322 wheels with slightly lower profile rubber from a MY 2007. Obviously, these 19" wheels suited the car better than the RRS jobs, giving a more compliant ride at the expense of handling and looks.

Wheel bolts might've been changed by the dealer I bought the vehicle from when the RRS rims were fitted, so can't really comment on that front. They did fit the 19" rims just fine though.

Any increase in tyre width may cause additional stresses on suspension components, which was another reason I removed the 20's. Braking is much better with the 19's fitted on my bus.

And yes, this car passed two Victorian roadworthy tests with the illegal rims fitted. I only found out by accident the 20's were law breakers.

So, yes the RRS rims do fit the L322. You'd have to check on the bolts though.

I have a set of 18" RRS rims that will go onto my L322 which currently has the optional 20" rims. I had the RRS rims on my P38A.

Do these fit the 2008 Vogue, as the dealer said only 19" is the smallest due to brakes?

Sorry, not an owner yet but would want to downsize the 20" on the RR I've put an offer in on.

I doubt it. The later cars have bigger brakes.

The my07 and later have bigger front callipers. They will probably fit over the L322 rear callipers.

After getting the right wheel nuts the rims off my RRS TDV8 fitted and look great on my L332. The ride is a little harsher due to being a lower profile, however still look great.
