    PArking Sensors

My parking sensors seem to have stopped working.

When I select reverse there's an initial beep and the light on dashboard switch flashes 6 times, but neither the front of the rear then work when I'm manoeuvring.

    Any ideas?

    Car is a 2010 MY 10 3.6 TDV8

Many Thanks Blade - having read your thread, I have similar side gremlins to you in the coolant level being reported as an error*; and a couple of suspension errors. I'll focus first on trying to see if I have a faulty sensor as root cause.

From my RRSport days this I found to be a drawback of the Canbus system in that you would get multiple errors around the real error.

*the coolant error was quoted at $800 by Brighton Land Rover as a coolant leak, hasn't really been an issue since clearing!

The three issues my car had when I first got it was the following:
    - Battery measured ok but needed replacing. This fixed most random errors and issues.
    - one rear parking sensor and the little CPU that controls the brake sensors were faulty.
    - my wiring loom going to the back of the car was crushed by a piece of trim which caused random suspension lowering to the cars belly.
