    Additional Switches

I'm starting to think about adding a light bar to my roof rack, and driving lights to the front bumper - plus maybe others. Has anyone got any good examples (photos) of where I could locate the extra switches without being 'ugly'?

The car is a 2010 TDV8 with the updated dash /TFT screens.

Doing exactly same thing - 2012 update front; have bought some factory bumper mounting brackets which I hope to fit some Lightforce LED spots too (would love FYRLTS but they won't fit without sticking out too far); also fitting a curved LED bar to the factory expedition rack; intend running wiring to switches up where sunroof switch is; I did buy a switch for the blank spot opposite the sunroof switch - if you have deployable side steps that switch is mounted there. But changed my mind and will now just fit two aftermarket rocker switches up there I think.

Did you consider a HID upgrade ? 30+ upgrade for hi-lo beam and a 70+ conversion for high beam. No protruding lights and great night vision.

There's room for 4 rocker switches.

Having bi-xenons, I fitted cheap 55W 5000K HIDs to the high-beam fill-ins with the globe tabs bent forwards at about 45 deg to raise the beam which otherwise would be too low.

Which rocker switches have you decided on?

I did that upgrade ages ago - no where near as good as the driving lights that now hang on the front.

and... sorry can't add anything to the switch discussion, mine are just on with high.

no mate, they are 7" HID units that are quite a few years old now (might be narva?) - not bad, heaps better then the upgrade to original lights, but from all reports, no where near as good as what the boys above are talking about...

Thanks for the clue regarding the switch mount location. I never thought to look up.
One question- do you have any recommendation for routing the wiring harness from a rack mounted light bar into the cabin and ultimately to the sunroof switch area?
