    Xenon bulb MY10 L322

    I noticed today the drivers side low beam wasn’t working.
    I pulled out the globe and reckon it needs replacing.

    Approx $300 from the dealer each with the driver box on the bottom.

    Can I just get a new globe and install on the silver box.
    Has anyone replaced them and have a recommended brand/model?

    I'd start with a search and same question on: Main Page - fullfatrr.com Wiki, as more chance someone in UK has found an alternative.

    D3S 55W 4300K. Don't settle for a 35W or greater than 5000K.

    Edit: Globes change colour as they age so you might want to buy 2.

    The silver box is part of the globe.

    I'm inclined to get one of these for $27 as a spare.

    I just spotted 35W on your picture. My MY12 owners book states 55W.

    Im assuming the ballast may not start them if they were 55w?
    No one thinks the cheapies will break or be inferior?

    At $27 compared to $300 it is a pretty cheap gamble to find out

    I replaced mine on the Disco 4 with 2 Osram D3S ordered from the UK, cost including shipping GBP 135, so about $225. Shipping via courier so was here in a few days. LR009163 D3S 66340XNB OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER UNLIMITED 70%
