Thats right... Sanchez, Miguel and Jesùs have arrived and taken up residence in my instrument pack...
Lost all comms on high speed CAN bus and some Medium bus modules not talking either.
After a blocked sunroof cascade a few months ago i thought id best check the under dash fuse box. Damn. Wish i hadn't 😣.
I'll let Pedro post the pics I've sent him as my ph WILL NOT play ball.
I was surprised at how cheap a new genuine jusebox from the dealer was... $320!! So i also had to buy a set of used plugs to be spliced in as some of the pins don't look too exciting, and 3 relays.
Hopefully all will be sorted soon however amazingly the failsafe programs for the l322 seem way more practical than the rrs or d3 etc. Have an ABS or Ride level control module fault with one of those and the car becomes undriveable with lowered suspension etc etc. I have noticed no difference at all except i can't raise or lower the vehicle. Been driving round for over a week now with a lit up dash.
Will update once the wiring has been done.
My fingers are crossed that there isn't a module failure somewhere caused by the shorted out circuitry in the fuse box!

The Isuzu 110. Solid and as dependable as a rock, coming soon with auto box😊
The Range Rover L322 4.4.TTDV8 ....probably won't bother with the remap..😈
Better update this!! In addition to replacing my underdash fuse box and a few of its plugs, the culprit turned out to be the SAS. All good now and enjoying an amigo free time😎

My disastrous encounters with automotive electronics of several makes have been well documented here in a number of threads. That is why I sought out a good 110 County-Isuzu. No electronic gizmos at all other than the voltage regulator and the radio/CD player. No more sudden stops when a 3 cent resistor/capacitor/transistor gives up duty inside a sealed $500 component requiring towing to a dealership.
I have been looking to buy a new family sedan. I am appalled by the amount of unnecessary electrical stuff new cars carry. Much of this I regard as pure selling tools, maybe nice to have but unnecessary, "mine is bigger than yours" talk for the salesmen. I wonder about the reliability and ease of servicing some of this stuff and what happens when it breaks. Does the car become unusable? Does it cost a fortune to repair something unnecessary?

Throw away and replace.

In the words of a red head, "Please explain".

By the way, when did the 3.0 litre motor come out in the D3 or D4 please.

SAS when used in an l322 context is also another way of saying $545... and several hours of contortion and hard labour

Yes been there done that , even used a camp stretcher set up outside the drivers door to lay level the contortionist bit. It can be done without the dash out , all within 1.5 hours apparently , I removed it that way but refitting ended up taking the dash out as the 2 hidden upper column mounting screws are hard to get to and I risks cross threading. Would I offer to do this job if some one paid me NO ON YOUR NELLY.
