    Considering joining the L322 brigade

Need a daily that is capable and toes well.

Considering 2002 4.4 that needs compressor repair and some drivers seat work.

It is cheap and I am hands on but used to classics.

    Any advice.

    Would really like a TDV8.

    Thanks

My concern (having one) is the plastic timing chain guide problem in the M62 engine. My L322 has 210,000km and I don't know if I should have the chain and guides replaced before they give trouble.

One suggestion has been to pull the lower sump panel and look for broken bits of plastic.

If you buy a cheap L322, expect expenses. The L322 are a great vehicle, but not cheap to own, unless maybe you have the time and confidence to do you’re own work. Buy the newest you can afford, a second essential criteria is evidence of servicing, a 3rd is lowest km affordable and looked after physical condition.

Same suggestions apply, especially to a tdv6.
