Congrats. That vehicle is a weapon, and will be fantastic on and off road. The CVDs are POSSIBLY susceptible to heavily corrugated roads like the GRR, as one owner experienced. But improve the ride and handling even more, which is hard to believe.
The difference to the Defender will be huge. I went from a well sound proofed turboed Perentie wagon (still have it) to a 3.6 L322 about 3 years ago, and love it.

How are you going to get used to the comfort upgrading from a defender.

Only if Glen has shaved off a beard in the meantime going from his Defender to the L322.... 😁

Well the beard hasn't completely gone but it's a lot shorter than it was :-)

As for the comfort, well when my back gave out in March this year I figured it may have been time to look at getting into something that was just as capable off-road but with a little more comfort factor ;-) I'm sure I'll manage to adjust to the comfort somehow :-D

P.S. Back is a million times better now, turns out it was chairs and desks at work that were waaay too low for a person of my height

    Congrats on the purchase.

Does it have CVDs? They were optional on MY10 and standard on MY11-12 but a 2010 build could be MY11 anyway. If it has CVDs then the wiring to the top of the front shocks breaks causing an Adaptive Dynamics fault. Its an easy fix (temporarily twist the broken wires together) and an upgraded connector and length of wiring is available as a LR spare part. Heavier wiring was fitted during MY12 production. A little more bump-stop clearance available with my kits works well with CVDs on fast, rough roads and tracks.

    Thanks for the information Graeme!

Her VIN falls in the range that has CVD's fitted so I'll have a look at those when I get her.

    Congrats Glenn

Great choice mate, I just got my 2010 Range Rover Vogue Autobiography TD V8 recently from WA too.
It arrived in Hervey Bay door to door delivery and in great shape, I am a very happy with her.

    Thanks Glenn

Out of curiosity, how long did it take to reach Hervey Bay from WA?

Not that I'm anxious or anything

    Awesome - G'day again Glenn !

I love my 130 but would also very much love an L322,
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
