Regarding the restricted performance, I had a similar thing with my 3.0 SDV6 D4, also a 2010. Coincided with a weird turbo howl on deceleration on the right hand side.. was the secondary turbo actuator. There are some good posts on the appropriate application of WD40 with the wheels at full lock to the right at off road height. Unfortunately I have no idea if this relates to the tdv8 but I’d start here.
The actuator stuck open. I think the howl was air being pushed back out the intake on that side.
At least in my case it cost about an hour, some WD40 and some skin off my knuckles and wrists as the hose clamp ends are a pain to get to.
I actually squirted WD40 into the housing from the top while the top and bottom hoses we off, then into and around the linkage. Squirt some in, leave for 5 mins, then manually work the actuator and let it out, I did it a few times the bolted it all back up... I still had an amber engine light afterwards but topped up oil and it’s been fine for 20000km.
I hope your fix is as painless as mine
