Surely you jest I honestly thought you added a extra 0 by mistake!!!

    Unbelievable ripoff,

it would be worth getting a 2nd hand harness from a wrecker on that basis alone, or having the original repaired by a electronics firm.

After picking myself off the floor after Mario's post; I did a search and found this ! There is a short harness available that can be spliced into the main harness at a affordable price

The link below is where I found the info and the details of the repair

Yep, I think that is more like it, Mario is NOT at fault here, I sent him the numbers in the Technical Bulletin and on of them was a full wiring harness; so my bad. Sorry Mario.

    Laurie,
Thank you for that one, it is what I am looking at and the section I was advised that needed to be fixed. My ECU connector was full of rusty water , so that didn't help either.
I appreciate all the help guys.

    Thanks Allan,
I didn't at any stage think Mario was gouging the price and I'm sorry Mario if I gave that impression; the ripoff is entirely Land Rover's; that's why I showed the UK price for the harness. Allan I hope this fixes all your problems.

Yep, thanks again Laurie, Looks like I may need to reco/replace my ECU after all, bummer. But, while it is still drivable I will wait and check some other things at the same time.

At least they are reco' able and not throw aways.
I posted a link a couple of pages ago. they seem reasonably priced, injectronics also do them but want double the $ and you have to go through Bursons or Repco so they get their cuts, the mob in Sydney deal direct
