    Hi Mario,
I've got a Delkor LN5 AGM in mine. Still going strong after 4 years. Longest I've left it was 3 days and it started straight away. Fits perfectly.

I bought a new battery last week Mario and the bloke I bought it from made an interesting comment.

I used Supercharge calcium batteries in the Deefer and they lasted over ten years, including being left for six months and run down to below 3v, then recharged.
They lasted another two-three years after that.

The Disco's Supercharge was over seven years old, and the PO only put 20,000km on it in that time.

Anyway, I mentioned this and he said I will not get anything like that life out of a current battery.
He didn't have the 950CCA Supercharge in stock and wouldn't for another two weeks so I grabbed a Delkor 900CCA calcium battery instead.
Delkor are owned by Johnson Controls, a massive, technically diverse company.

3 days , one would really hope it would last for weeks, unfortunately if you take these vehicles to an airport car park and go away for a few weeks you would hope it would start. but you would need to hook up a solar trickle charger or something, or disconnect the battery, or carry a booster battery..

    I wouldn't try that with a P38A! The L322 is more forgiving.

I went away for 6 weeks when I had the P38A. I put an automatic charger on it before I left. Regrettably, the day after we left there was a blackout. The charger didn't restart. When we got home, the battery was flat. I'd had it go flat in a shorter time than that.

I've now bought a C-Tek which does restart after a power failure. If I go away, the L322 goes on charge just in case.

My warranty replacement Supercharged battery failed after 20 mths. They didn’t reply to email re replacement.

The local dealer load tested it and recharged it. Said it was fine. 15 min after getting it Hm and before fitting it was 10.6v. Wouldn’t take charge from my CTek charger.

I bought a Century AMG Battery for $500. Will see how it goes.

    I’m pretty sure it’s a MXS 5.0amp.

The local agent said it might not be big enough, so was suckered into buy a bigger amp different brand smart charger off him. It didn’t help either.
