went and had the battery checked and tested going out so had it replaced with a Delko calcium, 40mth warranty and $380.
Pretty happy with that.
So you are happy with the CTEK MXS 5.0?

cant remember the original battery when I bought the car, but 4 years from a supercharge, started getting slower to crank so I replaced it late last year.
I remember reading somewhere its a 950CCA requirement?
currently has a no name supercharge 1000cca tractor battery as was on sale for $199 at a local place of ill repute. TRUCK BATTERY - 1000CCA - Paramount Browns', Adelaide
My L322 really only gets the odd long drive now, used for interstate trips and not a daily drive. Always have a jump start pack with me but will see how long it lasts, has been in since last September and car gets started once a fortnight if lucky.
But I'm one of the cheapskates on the forum![]()

2 days ago I was woken in the early hours by a high pitched chirp coming from the Rangie signal battery voltage too low. checked with multi meter and volts read 5.85. Battery only about a month old Yuasa.
not happy, something is drwaring power , as I drove it the day before. Charged it up yesterday back up to full charge.
this morning same happened, voltage down to 5.85 volts and chirping away.
I have a pretty bad parasitic draw, which I haven't had time or the energy to to find. I suspect the suspension compressor , I'm going to find the fuse/ relay for it charge up the battery again and see if it is ok tomorrow morning . If not then its the long job with a multi meter checking each circuit and Alternator for a reverse current diode fault.
