    Air con pump. L322 2002 TD6

    Hi All
Just wondered if the air con pump on the TD62002 is the same as on the petrol 4.4. ?
I have been offered one from the USA but came off a petrol model.
    Cheers Paul.

Hi Paul the part number JPB000110 is the same for both the 3.0 litre diesel M57 and 4.4 litre petrol M62 only, the AJ V8s are different

HFC134A is the refrigerant they use. The part number is entirely different. I would suggest that you get a photo of the label on the compressor and the compressor itself and compare to yours.

Les, Have you checked out any BMW wreckers here in AUS for a compressor? The engine in your Rangie is a BMW motor, the M57, the BMWs might have used the same Aircon compressor, might be work checking out before paying expensive postage from the USA if you can can find a compatible unit here for less $
    Cheers, Mario

    Hi Mario,
It's not mine, it was Brummy did the original post. There are a couple of Denso rebuilders here in Australia. If it was mine i'd be looking at getting an exchange unit.

    td6 a/c

The bearing on the pulley is gone, when you turn on the a/c the pulley wheel moves up and down, then after a couple of mins the screaching starts.
Its the original unit from 2002 by the look of it.
To be honest I dont really know whats wrong with it........but it don't sound good.
    Paul.
