Fitted a new Genuine rear Passenger side ABS wheel sensor and all faults fixed.

I replaced a 12month aftermarket Rear ABS sensor today after only 12months .

Symptoms were locking of brakes preventing me driving from stand still. When the fault was cleared with iidtool BT and was able to drive but the speedo wasn't working, the power steering felt sloppy. The air suspension inactive fault displayed and hill decent fault.
After fitting a new genuine sensor all is back to normal.
BMW electrical engineering , one lousy sensor stuffs up other things. But at least I was still able to drive after clearing the fault without it going into limp mode and having to flatbed unlike D3s RRS etc.

owners of these vehicles are mad if they don't carry a proper diagnostic tool like IIDtool in my opinion, at least you can get mobile. Although $600 odd dollars they pay for themselves over and over.
