The aftermarket heated screen in ours when we bought it was aweful - barely useable at night with the glare off the wires. Was so bad I just got a standard screen fitted which was only $230. Insist on a genuine screen only if that's what it already has.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
Thanks and yes it will be genuine!!

Just got mine done through RACQ, no use to you, but make sure who ever does it, that they have your VIN number.
There are a number of versions and only the VIN will get you the correct windscreen.
Re Drivesafe's comment, I suspect my screen was for a later model and that's why the rain sensor's light sensor didn't line up with the hole in the screen mask.

Yep, if they don't get it right, the windscreen connections are in different positions.
It took two goes for them to get mine right.
I'm with Shannons they allow a windscreen a year . I asked them about the windscreen when I insured and told them I have some wiz bang Genuine windscreen that's expensive, they said they would replace it with what its got. Time will tell when the time comes.
Cant agree more - mine was replaced by windscreens Obrien and they put some aftermarket heated screen in even though mines not a heated screen model.
The reflection of the heating element wires in full sunlight is nothing short of horrific.
I gave up arguing about it with Shannon's insurance and windscreens Obrien after about 2 years and have lived with it since. Not happy Jan.
