My top Glove box has the multi stack CD Changer and Venture Cam - neither of which are used by me. Does the car need these (e.g would the CD player be used for a Nav upgrade); or would it be safe to remove so I could use this space for say a UHF radio and mic location etc?
Also if I did this would it be expected to significantly detract from resale?

Not until they discovered that it was missing! I only listen to CDs/DVDs.
A remote head UHF should be easy enough to fit. I have a remote head UHF/VHF/HF radio mounted to the back of a rear seat with the head velcro'd in front of the gear indicators.

AT RESTmy aftermarket head unit in the dash has DVD, but also usb and a micro sd slot, so movies on a card or usb work and take up less room than cds.
