    Top Glove Box

My top Glove box has the multi stack CD Changer and Venture Cam - neither of which are used by me. Does the car need these (e.g would the CD player be used for a Nav upgrade); or would it be safe to remove so I could use this space for say a UHF radio and mic location etc?

Also if I did this would it be expected to significantly detract from resale?

Unsure what the venture cam does......I highly doubt anybody would be concerned that the CD Stacker is missing.

Not until they discovered that it was missing! I only listen to CDs/DVDs.

A remote head UHF should be easy enough to fit. I have a remote head UHF/VHF/HF radio mounted to the back of a rear seat with the head velcro'd in front of the gear indicators.

I plan to remove the CD player and replace it with a Raspberry Pi media centre. Mine is a much earlier model than yours and a chap in Melbourne has developed the interface board and software for it. PiBUS - A Raspberry Pi-BMW Interface Board

my aftermarket head unit in the dash has DVD, but also usb and a micro sd slot, so movies on a card or usb work and take up less room than cds.
