    L322 transfer box issue

    My l322 is in hi Range when I start the engine but then when I drive it switches to low range by itself..the switch by the gear lever has no effect but occasionally it will swap between hi & low as I drive...any ideas guys.. thanks

    Sounds electrical - possibly a failed switch or a broken wire sometimes touching earth.

    Sounds like the motor drive potentiometer is shot. Common problem. There was a guy on Full Fat RR that was going to have some made as the only part available over the counter is a whole new motor drive. In the meantime, unplug the motor drive underneath the car while it’s in high range - not sure if it will throw a fault or not, but may get you going.
