    Air system lubricant

Just a quick question for the gurus out there in AULRO land does anyone think spraying a little silicone lubricant into the air receiver inlet hose, in the hope it will migrate through the system and clean/lubricate the valves in the system. Is a good or bad idea, normally on trucks with air compressors and air receivers they drain moisture from the receivers daily. I know the Range Rovers have a desiccant filter on the discharge to prevent moisture in the system and I have changed mine recently when I rebuilt the compressor but I was thinking the valves could become dry and stick if they did not have some form of light lubricant.
    Just putting it out there.

I wouldn't , they were designed as a dry system and adding a lubricant will just mix with the dessicant powder and make it leak worse or jam the valves.
