Battery went flat now driver door not working.

    G'day guys,

So the other day my battery went flat as it is on it's way out.

So I disconnected it to charge it up. When I reconnected it, now my driver door is non functional. But just the driver door, all the other doors are working as they should. But nothing on the driver door, not central locking, windows, mirrors or even the interior light. I've tried disconnecting the battery and doing the touch the leads together thing and no change. I've plugged in my high end scanner but no codes and no communication with the driver door.

Anyone had this issue before I start pulling the door apart?

    Speakers work ?

If not sounds like the main electrical plug to the door has disconnected somewhere. Get out the multi-meter before taking the door card off ! check fuses etc

Fuse 32 25amp Drivers door on 2010-2012 models, but yours is listed as a 2004 ? I don't have a listing for that year.

    Thanks guys,

I've checked all the fuses, and i've pulled the connector from the A pillar to the door. It looked ok but I contact cleaned it out and put in some Korsion Kure but no improvement. I've been looking at the wiring diagrams to see what is common with the faults I have. The only thing that works on the door is the suspension lower button. As far as I can work out there is something wrong with the door module. Time to pull the door trim I think. Now I'll have to work out how to test the door module.

And yes the speakers work, the door lights work but only if one of the other doors has been opened. The drivers door does nothing. So atm I can't lock the drivers door with the fob.

    All Fixed

So I've fixed the driver door issue I had, and the problem was! Buggered if I know.

I pulled the door trim off and pulled the door module apart. It all looked ok with no issues so I put it back together and fitted the door trim back on (after fixing just about all of the retaining clip mounts that are hot glued on)

Reconnected the battery and now it all works. Bit of a mystery, it might have been the battery disconnect that reset the BCM but I've tried that 3 time before. Or maybe a dodgy connection?

    Thanks for the input guys.
