Start by checking the injector loom, if the loom is ok start looking for a faulty injector!
Detach and reattach each injector plug and see hopefully which one doesn't make any difference at idle.

This morning on the way to work car ran fine up hill and under power. Coasting downhill and when idling at lights noticed a miss. Miss just like a crook injector. TD6 diesel motor starts fine and idles smoothly until it warms up, seems fine when powering along.
Behaved similarly this afternoon when travelling home.
Where do you suggest I start looking?

Progress I hope.
We have been experiencing fantastic vehicle maintenance working weather this last week!
Took the covers off the motor on Friday and noticed carbon like leakage around one of the EGR metal pipe fittings. Removed and refitted with bit of goop in the leaking pipe connection.
Also some moisture (fuel) in areas of 3 of the injectors. Checked tension on injector bolts and the wet ones were not tight.
Original missing behaviour has not reappeared, but only a couple of short trips, but motor up too temp, so hoping it is progress!
