The buyer will need to pay GAP to re-licence it to the buyer's car's VIN

Here's a GAP IID Tool at a very good price. If I didn't already have one, this would be mine!

I had it fully checked out with an experienced Land Rover garage before purchasing and they thought the car was all good. I have driven about 1500ks since I got it and it has driven perfectly. It was in the rain last week and going through some big puddles that the problems started. I have read on other forums that this may be caused by the height sensors and that the loss of power was actually the HDC kicking in. I have driven it again yesterday and although the warning lights are still on it has driven fine. One thing I have noticed is that nearly every time I turn the engine on is that the radio has not held it's memory as in it is always back on 87.5. Whether this has something to do with the battery voltage I don't know but it is something I must check as I hear these cars are very sensitive when it comes to battery voltage. Any ideas you might have would be great and thanks for your reply.
Thanks - if it was the diesel the Trans is a known issue but the V8 has a better box, although not immune to issues, it is much better. Battery voltage is very much critical in these vehicles - if the battery is starting to fade the first symptoms are usually HDC inactive. Would pay to have the battery checked (load tested) to make sure it still has plenty of punch. If you replace it, make sure you get one that meets the minimum specs for the vehicle - it may have something smaller in it that what is recommended.

    All the best.
If you need to contact me please email [email protected] - thanks - Gav.

Thanks Homestar. Funnily enough all the faults were clear yesterday and it was driving perfectly. The battery is something I will definitely check as I mentioned earlier the radio isn't holding a channel when the is turned off so, for me anyway, that would seem a red flag for the battery. I am putting the issues down to the heavy rain and a few large puddles messing with the sensors although I will have to do some more looking into this as it can't be happening every time it rains!!
Again, thanks for your input, I new to this so all feedback is greatly appreciated.
