    What’s that noise?

My 2002 HSE 4.4 V8 started a whirring noise whilst driving. After turning off and restarting the noise amplified to a screaming noise, and smoke,( burning rubber), began willowing from the RH side of the engine bay.
Not sure how to post the video I took of this but I’m hoping someone may be able to help.

    Hi
If memory serves; on that side . I would check the drive belt for signs that the A/C compressor has had a clutch/bearing failure; also maybe bearing failure on your idler pulley's. The rubber smell could be your drive belt burning due to friction The A/C compressor can seize causing many problems. rar110 has his go on a TdV8, there is comment in another thread about the havoc it created

Can anyone recommend a Range Rover mechanic in Perth’s northern suburbs? I’ve googled a couple but would prefer going off a recommendation.
    Thanks
