Flip key - casing replacement

I'll have to review the instructions. I tried them on the weekend when mine lost synch and I couldn't get the instructions to work.

if it isjust the buttons pad as your photo then they can be replaced, I bought a Silicon button pad on Ebay from a Aussie seller. easy to replace.

Yes you can just replce the buttons I did one old key with silicon ones , Be wary of the cheap chinese fobs and buttons as they are very hard to press compared to good ones and the plastic casing material is of low quality plastic. I'm in need of new buttons for my fob, they aren't on eBay any more.. anyone got details of the WA seller? If not, any suggestions as to what to do? Buttons are getting harder to press, I don't want to be locked out..

Aliexpress is your friend with this stuff. Don't worry about the chip frequency just take out the chip from your old key and slot it in the new. That's what I did with mine, but I changed to the flip style key and they work a treat.

So looking at the second link, any of those will work?
And can any shopping centre key cutting service cut the new key?

Yes my local locksmith cut the key for me and fit the blade. It has a tiny roll pin to attach the blade and is really fiddly. As I said take the chip from the old key and stick it in the new one. There is a spot for it. but the locksmith could do that for you.

Then just do the fob syncing routine and all should work. Well mine do.
