Excellent. The price is right - we need 10 orders, though.
I have tracked down a replacement for burnt out steering lock motors in the L322 Range rover.
The link is as follows. http://www.elvmotor.com/shopdvr/prod...ock_Motor.html
If I am ever on life support
unplug me.....
Then plug me back in see if that works !!!!!

That's cheaper than the bypass module that we've been using.
Is it really the motor that fails though? I was under the impression it was an electronic problem within the steering lock module, not the motor.

I believe that it could be one of two things the steering lock motor or the switch next to it both now can be replaced. Its not usually the circuit board. If you can't hear the lock going in and out when you put the key in then I believe that's the lock motor.

If the price is right, I'd take one. When one has a spare, one never needs it.

So today I had a 2007MY L322, faulty steering column lock, pull fuse 18 & you can turn the key after a few attempts...
Disabled the Steering Column Lock in the CCF, made no difference. Can still hear the little thunk a moment or two after removing the key, and then it won't turn again until fuse #18 has been taken out.
So it seems disabling in the CCF only works in the 2010-2012 models. Which kind of makes sense since the people selling the emulators say they are for 2002-2009 models, not for 2010-2012...
