rated recovery points for 2004 Range Rover

    G'day All,
I have done a search and failed to find anything about Rated Recovery Points for 2004 Range Rover. Does anyone on the forum sell them or know where I can purchase a pair for the front in particular?
Thanks for your time and hope you all have a SAFE and Very Merry Christmas.
    Cheers

+1 for this for the front, I've read reports of people just using the tow eye but rave states its only for 'on road recovery'.

If you have the tow receiver in the rear you can just use something like this:

    From my MY12 owners manual...

    FRONT AND REAR TOWING EYES
The towing eyes at the front and rear
of the vehicle are designed for
on-road recovery only. If they are used
for any other purpose, it may result in
    vehicle damage and serious injury.
Remove the front towing eye cover
    before driving off-road, to prevent
    damage or loss.

    OFF-ROAD RECOVERY
If the towing eyes are to be used for
off-road recovery, it is essential that
    off-road driver training covering
    recovery techniques is undertaken.

My 04 book states pretty much the same. I have the solid block and D shackle for the back but I can't find anything for the front. Hence the question.

I used mine's front hook with a gentle snatch, as snatches should be.

You're not always in control of how you are snatched, I'll wait a little longer and see if some one has more info.

You should be! My recovery was done after my explicit requirements were expressed which didn't compromise the tug owner's requirements as we both would only participate in a gentle tug.

    G'day All,
I have had some good news, a video on Youtube from Harry's Garage, review on the L322 states in his video that the front hook is rated at 7 tonne so that seems fine for snatching and being snatched to me. Any thoughts to the contrary?
    Cheers
