Can anyone help with part number, location and I am lead to believe that it needs to be calibrated, can some one assist with that?
Had the car in with the steeler and the money is on the HVAC and guess what, they are obsolete, any one know who can repair them?
Cheers

If a replacement one is found then it needs to be calibrated to the vehicle. If the old one can be repaired then I believe this is not required.
Don't believe it - that is dealer speak for "it must be done by us".
I replaced the HVAC ECU (panel in dash with controls on it) in my 2004 TD6 about 2 years ago - straight plug'n'play. They are available from ebay.co.uk, was about $90 landed.

part #JFC000383PUY has the heated seat controls, if you don't have heated seats it works fine, stores a fault about not finding seat heaters. You can swap the facia if the wreckers part turns up with a few scratches.

G'day Harlie,
Part has been ordered, seems to be a different part number to the one I was given, as long as it fits and works I'll be a happy camper.
Thanks very much.
Part arrived yesterday, five minutes to fit, all good, best $50 I ever spent.
Man that heater pumps out some heat. Hahahahahah
brilliant
