    can the gear box oil level be checked with the IID tool

    Might be worthwhile telling us some details about your rangie. Possibly even putting it in your signature. I've never really been good at guessing things.

    Go to the top right of the page and select Settings.

    That will bring up a screen where, on the LHS, you'll see you can edit stuff about yourself. Now edit your signature to put in info about what you drive, e.g., see my signature. If you want a pic on the left of your messages (like the one of my son on his bike), use the Edit Avatar option.

    It can't be checked by IIDTool... There is a procedure to check the gearbox just Google "check 5hp24 oil level"

    The engine has to be running for the ZF 5HP24 fluid level check.

    I have changed the filter and the oil, and since doing this the red break light and the abs light have never come on
