SupporterHi. Just wonder if anyone knows whether the Vogue Luxury has full leather seats all front and back or otherwise. I have a slight tear on the side of the seat (driver entry) and an upholsterer says he believes the sides of the seat are a vinyl composition. ?? Thanks.

Should be leather, the perforated section is Aniline leather, many mistake it for Alcantara; if removing the cover ( depending on the tear ) I would replace the swab also as it does degrade over time. It can be removed without taking the seat out!

SupporterThanks Laurie. I've heard of Aniline leather but not Alcantara ... whats different with that one? Good news that the seat does not need to be removed though. Thanks again.

Alcantara is a Synthetic leather substitute !
Wiki states Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane,[2] giving increased durability and stain resistance. The appearance and tactile feel of the material is similar to that of suede, and it may be erroneously identified as such.
