    And here it it…..

2010 L322 Range Rover Autobiography Black. 135K Miles

Been lurking across the forums for 6 months, reading, watching the issue with the L322. But, time to pull the trigger and buy one.

Been in for some service items, CV boots, a leaking turbo pipe, worn ball joint, full service, get the rusty and rotten side steps off, along with the front mud flaps. The wheels have been replaced with Black L405 1065 style, with Cooper Discoverer AT 275/55/20’s.

I‘ll be installing an “Easy lift suspension module, 10 min job, which will give me 5 extra ride heights, the added factory raised heights, so it will raise to 4” in extend mode, all controlled via an app, pictures coming on the install and the heights. One cool function, it has an auto level function, which will help when the RTT is on for trips.

Few things to do next, remove the cheap stick on wind deflectors, 🤷🏼*♂️ I know, they are terrible and cheap, clean the leather inside, it’s in really good condition but needs a good clean and the leather fed. All incandescent bulbs being replaced with LED’s, and put on a new set of front mud flaps, without the side step cut out. Install the full rear dog guard / cage, and start to plan out how the fridge slide, dual ARB compressor and Redarc BMS Manager 30 will fit in the rear loadspace. Then it‘s on to deblingIing it, remove the chrome and silver trim items, and replace said items with black versions, easy to do.

More soon as the mods continue apace.

    Cheers

I’ll be documenting this build on YouTube, as well as here. The plan is to take a 2 week trip to the Spanish Pyrenees in May, already booked

I mate, a nice looking 322 you have there, all the best with your build, I will be checking your posts. I’m after a TDV8 here in OZ but they are few and far between. I did have a nice one, did a lot of work, then I had a brain fade in April and tried to teach it to swim….. I thought the “air’ bags would hold it up….. really miss her. Cheers, Phil.

    Week 3 update

Lots of broken trims items removed over the past few weeks, lots of the trim has broken tabs, cracked, chipped paint etc. It’s looking like this now, not to everyone’s tastes, but, stealth is good.

The exterior is done, or rather the way I wanted it.

The interior has had some changes, all light bulbs have been changed to LED’s, and I’ve added a 67 design series 55 100mm mount to the side trim, was scraped, so it hides that, so I can mount my phone and iPad mini. USB power snakes from cubby box under trim to the mount.

    Coming, this week, ECU remap.
