L322 Upper and lower control arm bushes.

    Hello all.
Have to replace the upper and lower control arm bushes soon.
Can anyone advise which are the best to fit ?
I have heard Lemfoder are good, and Delphi.
Also is it hard for my mechanic to remove old and fit new bushes ?
I have a relative visiting soon from UK, who can bring with them.
    Cheers Paul.

I believe in the long run, considering the effort and cost ( big press ) to remove the bushes, you would be better off replacing with new arms and ball joints . A much easier job you could possibly do yourself. Especially if you can purchase in the UK and have them delivered for free by your relative.

Are we talking front or back?

If we are talking the front this kit from ebay might do the trick.

Just looking at the Rimmer Bros page and it looks like the front suspension parts are for all models (except armoured vehicles LOL).

The rear is a different story.

FCP euro have lifetime warranty for all parts, which means when they wear out, they replace them free. Shipping is usually pretty good too.

Buy lemforder. I can do one side in about 30 min in the driveway and ive used Moog, Britpart, ebay, OEM and lemforder last the longest.

Upper (a tyre shop or mechanic can press them as a part of the fitment):
Land Rover Control Arm Bushing - Lemforder LR018345 | FCP Euro

    Lower:
Land Rover Control Arm - Lemforder RBJ500920 | FCP Euro

    Dont forget these:
Land Rover Ball Joint - Lemforder RBK500210 | FCP Euro

    Or the kit:
Land Rover Control Arm Kit - Lemforder LR018343KT | FCP Euro

Dont forget to get a wheel alignment!

Mine's upper arm bushes LR018345 (Lemforder) last under 20K kms so I'm trialling filling the rear air space with neoprene sealant. I didn't wait long enough for the sealant to cure so some leaked out but I'm preparing another set layering the neoprene to ensure it cures. I blame gravel roads for pounding the bushes. I asked Merle if they might consider making a HD version of the bush, perhaps without the rear air space as Merle make solid D4 LCA bushes.
