    Have I blown my BCM?

So while I was doing my timing chain I had the battery disconnected for most of the time (6 weeks in total) but connected it probably 6 times to open the tailgate.

Now I have no sound out of the radio. no cruise control, no windows from the drivers door switch or mirror adjustment. All the rest seams to be working fine. I've tried clearing all the codes but still nothing.

I thought it might have been an issue with the battery being under voltage but no. I've tried about a dozen times the disconnect the battery but no. One time I got the windows and the central locking to work but that was only once.

I pulled the BCU and it looks fine with no burnt bits.

Anyone have experience with this? Any help would be appreciated.

Did you keep the battery charged while it was disconnected?

Low voltage can be a problem, but with the L322, a battery with low capacity is also a problem.

If you can give the battery a good charge, on a charger for at least 12 hours, regardless of whether the charge is in a full charge state or on float.

You need the time to be at least 12 hours, to recondition the battery.

If your battery is in a low state of capacity nut is still in good nick, this may solve all your mystery problems.

Thanks for tip. The battery tested OK and I tried to do the disconnect/reconnect after a 150km drive, so you would think the battery was fully charged. But I did as you recommended and had it on charge over night. Well that seamed to work.

I have everything back except still no sound out of the radio. All the functions are working as is the Satnav just no sound. I don't know if the BCM has anything to do with the radio amplifier but I'll see if I can find a wiring diagram and go from there.
