    Insurance options?

    Hi all
just received the comprehensive insurance renewal for my 20212 Vogue 4.4TD from NRMA. It’s well over $1900 with an $1000 excess. That’s about 20% up on last year. Had no claims or infringements for years so nothing’s changed there. One of the most concerning things is the agreed value at $54k (increasable up to a max $57k for a substantial premium hike). It was $62k last year and the premium around $1600 so I’m looking at a 20% increase for 13% less cover.
Given current used car prices I seriously doubt I’d be able to replace my vehicle for anything like $54k, especially as mine has very low Kms on the clock (<75,000).
A bit of googling has thrown up a couple of more reasonable premiums, but the agreed value remains low at $52-58k.
Wondering which insurers other NSW forum members are using/recommending and how they feel about/address being potentially under-insured in the event of a write off in the current market?
Cheers & Happy New Year to everyone.

After a search I found CCI (Catholic Church Insurance) underwritten by Allianz. Got quote from CCI and Allianz direct, CCI was much cheaper, and exactly same policy documents. Worth a look.
